Hajj packages in Pakistan: a complete guide
The short answer. Packages differ in four things and almost nothing else: the Mina camp category and position, the distance from the Haram, how many share the room, and how long the package is. The names on brochures, economy, five-star, luxury, all-inclusive, are descriptions of those four, not separate products. Learn to read the four and every quote becomes comparable.

These are the rates published on this website, read when the site was last built. They move with the riyal, the airfare and the season. Ask us for today's figure and we will confirm it before you pay anything.
Look at what changes between the rows: the length, the maktab and the room. Those are the levers, and every brochure word is a description of where a package sits on them.
The four variables
1. The Mina camp. Category and position. This decides the walk to the Jamarat and what the tent is like, and it is the hardest part of Hajj. It is also the line most buyers never ask about. Mina camps during Hajj.
2. The distance from the Haram. Most of the Makkah cost, and it is the walk at the hour you will make it rather than the number on a map. How far are Hajj hotels.
3. The room. The same hotel, the same dates, a different per-person figure. The largest saving available to a family and it costs nothing but closeness.
4. The length. A shorter package is not a worse one. It is fewer nights, usually fewer in Madinah.
Behind those sits a fifth you cannot see on a brochure: how many pilgrims one group leader is responsible for. You discover its value on the day something goes wrong.
The tiers, and what each name usually means
- Economy: further, more sharing, often
shorter. A legitimate choice if you know which line was cut.
- Five-star: a hotel rating, which is a
poorer guide than distance.
- Luxury: at the top end the money goes
into Mina and staffing rather than the lobby.
- Family: rooms and keeping people
together.
- Group: a mosque or community travelling as
one.
- All-inclusive: ask for the
excluded list, which is the real answer.

Government or private first
Before any of this, decide the scheme. The government scheme is cheaper and takes the larger share of the quota; the private scheme costs more and buys shorter distances, smaller groups and somebody responsible for you. Only the private scheme is sold as packages.

How to compare two quotes
Write both answers down for each line:
- Mina category, and where the camp sits
- Makkah hotel by name, and the walk in minutes
- Madinah hotel, and how many nights
- How many share the room at that price
- Direct flight or one stop, and the dates
- Which meals, and is the Qurbani in
- What is excluded, in writing
- Cancellation terms, in writing
