A career begins
Adam Kath joins MCB Bank and begins his working life, long before travel is ever part of the plan.
A dream in the night
He sees himself standing in Hajj beside his mother and father. The dream stays with him and will not let go.
The dream, answered
He performs Hajj with his parents, just as he had seen it. What he feels there sets the course of the rest of his life.
A quiet resolve
In those years Pakistan has only Government Hajj; no private operators exist. So, while still in banking, he begins helping others by hand with their Hajj papers, asking nothing in return.
Two turns at once
He becomes an investor in hotels in Makkah, and retires from MCB Bank as Assistant Vice President.
Hujjaj Travel is founded
He gives the rest of his life to the road he walked himself, and Hujjaj Travel is born.
The first group, the next hand
Hujjaj Travel leads its first Umrah group. His elder son, Shahid Kath, joins the work.
Building the framework
He works closely with the Ministry of Religious Affairs to open Hajj to private operators, sharing proposals and hard-won knowledge that help shape the system Pakistan still runs on.

Hujjaj Travel leads its first private Hajj group, among the very first in the country to do so.
The family grows
His younger son, Abid Kath, joins the family business.
The handover
Adam Kath retires, and places the whole of Hujjaj Travel in the hands of his two sons.
