Umrah packages from Lahore
The short answer. The one question to ask about a Lahore Umrah package is whether the flight actually departs Lahore or routes you through another city first, because the brochure rarely says and it changes the length of your travelling day. Everything else in the package, which is where your money actually goes, has nothing to do with the city you leave from.
The question that is specific to Lahore
Does my flight leave Lahore, or does it take me somewhere else first?
Both are normal. A connecting routing is not a worse package and is sometimes a cheaper one. But it decides whether your travelling day is a morning or most of a day and a night, and that matters a great deal if you are travelling with an older parent or small children.
Ask it plainly, and ask the follow-up: is the whole journey on one ticket? One ticket means the airline is responsible for you if a connection is missed. Two separate tickets mean you are.
Nobody volunteers this. It is not deception, it is just not on the brochure.
What the city changes, and what it does not
Changes: the airfare, the flight pattern, and where documents are collected.
Does not change: the visa, the hotel in Makkah, how far it is from the Haram, how many share the room, the nights in Madinah, the transport between the two cities. That is the whole package, and none of it depends on Lahore.
So judge a Lahore quote the way you would judge any quote: what is included in an Umrah package.

Our office is in Saddar, Karachi. We work with families across Pakistan, and after the first conversation everything is handled remotely. Documents can be couriered to and from your city.
What you should insist on, from us or from anybody:
- Everything in writing, in one message you can keep: the hotels by name,
the room, the nights, the exclusions, the cancellation terms.
- Payment to the registered company, against a receipt, never to a personal
account. This is the whole of the fraud protection in one line.
- A licence you can check, not a logo on a card.
How to verify an Umrah travel agency.
A distant agency that puts it in writing is safer than a local one that will not. Distance is not the risk; vagueness is.
What to ask, in one message
- Does the flight depart Lahore, and is it direct?
- If it connects, is it one ticket?
- Which hotel in Makkah, and how many minutes to the Haram?
- How many share the room at this price?
- Nights in Makkah, nights in Madinah?
- What is not included, and what are the cancellation terms?
Before you speak to anybody
- Passport expiry, for every traveller including children.
- The vaccination with the waiting period, started early, because it
decides whether your dates are possible at all.

The thing worth more than a discount
Moving your dates. In Ramadan and the school holidays the close hotels go first and cost the most. In a quiet month the same money puts you much closer to the Haram, and on an Umrah the walk to the Haram is the trip.
