Ramadan Umrah packages from Pakistan
The short answer. Ramadan is the most sought-after time to perform Umrah and the most expensive, and the last ten nights are the peak of it. Book as early as you can, because what runs out is the close hotels rather than the seats, and waiting costs you the walking distance rather than the money. It is extraordinary, and it is not the right choice for every family.

What it is actually like
Enormous crowds, at every hour, and an atmosphere people describe for years afterwards. The Haram is full through the night. Iftar is communal and overwhelming in the best sense. The last ten nights are the busiest days of the Umrah year.
It is also physically harder than a quiet month, for the obvious reason: everything takes longer, walking is slower, and you are fasting while doing it.
Why it costs what it does
Nothing about the visa or the flying changes in Ramadan. What changes is demand for a fixed number of hotel rooms near the Haram, and for seats on the same flights.
That is why our rates, like everybody's, move with the season. The published ones are here, by room, so you can see how the room itself changes the figure as much as anything else:
| Package | Length | From, per person | Rooms published |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hujjaj Essential Umrah | 15 Days | PKR 106,645 | Quint 106,645, Quad 114,000, Triple 127,300, Double 155,350 |
| Hujjaj Essential Value | 15 Days | PKR 137,907 | Quint 137,907, Quad 153,133, Triple 179,410, Double 233,500 |
These are the rates published on this website, read when the site was last built. They move with the riyal, the airfare and the season. Ask us for today's figure and we will confirm it before you pay anything.
What actually moves an Umrah price, in order, is in the Umrah cost guide.
Book early, and understand what early buys
Early does not buy a discount in Ramadan. It buys:
- The close hotel. The buildings within a short walk go first, and in Ramadan
that walk matters more than at any other time because the crowds slow everything
down.
- The room configuration your family needs rather than what is left.
- A civil flight time, rather than the one nobody wanted.
- The last ten nights, if that is what you are coming for.
Waiting until close to Ramadan rarely means no Umrah. It means a longer walk, and in this season the walk is the whole experience.
Who it suits
- Pilgrims for whom the atmosphere of Ramadan is the point, which is most people
who ask about it.
- Fit adults who can manage crowds and the pace.
- Anybody whose leave only falls then.
Who it suits less
- An older parent, unless the hotel is genuinely close. The difficulty is the
crowds, not the fasting. We would rather take a parent in a quiet month and give
them room to move. See
- Families with small children, for the same reason, though it is entirely
doable with a close hotel and lower expectations of each day. See
- Anybody on a tight budget who would get a much better hotel for the same
money in a quieter month.
The practical differences
- Sleep is inverted. Much of the activity is at night. Plan for it rather than
fighting it.
- The first day matters more. Landing in the small hours and going straight to
the Haram, while fasting, is how people lose two days.
- Hydration between iftar and suhoor is the thing people get wrong.
- Queues and walking times roughly double. Budget time, not just money.
- Taxis are harder to get at the busy hours. Budget for them anyway.
What to settle in writing
The same as any Umrah, and more important here because substitutions are more likely when everything is full:
- The hotel by name, and the walk in minutes.
- Which room the price is for.
- Meals, and whether iftar and suhoor are included.
- The Makkah to Madinah journey, included or not.
- What is excluded, and the cancellation terms.
The full list is in what is included in an Umrah package.
Ask us early
If Ramadan is what you want, tell us as far ahead as you can manage, with how many of you there are, the ages and the room you want. We will tell you honestly what is still within a short walk, what it costs, and whether the last ten nights are realistic on your dates. Our departures are on the Umrah packages page.
If you have flexibility, ask us what the same money buys in a quieter month. For some families the answer changes their mind, and for others it does not, and both are fine.
