Umrah cost from Pakistan: a complete price guide
The short answer. Four things move an Umrah price and nothing else moves it much: when you go, how far you sleep from the Haram, how many share your room, and the flight. Ramadan is the most expensive time of the year by a wide margin. Our own published rates are on this page, and they are the rates for the rooms rather than a headline figure.
Umrah is far easier to price than Hajj. There is no quota, no camp category and no allocation. What is left is a flight, a visa, hotels and transport, which is why the same company can quote two very different numbers for the same week.

These are the rates published on this website, read when the site was last built. They move with the riyal, the airfare and the season. Ask us for today's figure and we will confirm it before you pay anything.
The prices are per person, and the room is what changes them. A family of five in one room pays a very different per-person figure from two people in a double, in the same hotel, on the same dates.
The four things that move the number
1. When you go. The largest factor in Umrah, and the one entirely within your control. Ramadan, and especially the last ten nights, is the most expensive and most crowded time of the year. School holidays follow. A quiet month is the same place, far cheaper, with a hotel you could not otherwise afford.
2. How far you sleep from the Haram. The biggest line inside the package, and the one worth paying for if anybody in the group cannot walk far. Ask for the hotel by name and measure it yourself.
3. How many share the room. See the table. This is where most families make their real saving, and it costs nothing but closeness.
4. The flight. Direct or one stop, which airline, and how early it was booked.
Everything else, the visa, the ground transport, the Ziyarat, is small beside those four.
Why we do not print "Umrah costs X"
Because it would be wrong within weeks. The riyal moves, the airfare moves hard by season, and hotel rates around the Haram move with the calendar. The table above is read from what this website publishes each time the site is rebuilt, which is as close to current as a page can be. For the figure on your dates, ask.

What is not in an Umrah package
Whoever you book with:
- Gifts, which are almost always the largest unplanned spend.
- Taxis, especially with an older parent.
- Phone and data.
- Meals, depending on the package. Check which.
- The Makkah to Madinah journey in some packages. Ask.
- Ziyarat beyond what is listed.

Where people spend badly
Booking late for Ramadan. Waiting does not save money in the busy season; it costs you the hotel distance, which is the thing that actually matters.
Buying a near hotel and a long stay when a near hotel and a shorter stay would have been better. Days at the Haram you are too tired to use are not worth what they cost.
Choosing on the headline and discovering the room. Always ask which room the price is for.
Ignoring the vaccination timing. One of the two mandatory vaccinations has a waiting period, and discovering it late forces you into whatever dates are left, which is usually the expensive ones.
