How to get a Hajj visa: a guide for Pakistani passport holders
The short answer. A Pakistani passport holder does not apply for a Hajj visa directly. It is obtained through the scheme you have joined: the government scheme administered by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, or a licensed Hajj Group Organiser filing for a private group. Your job is to get a seat and to have a file that passes. Anybody offering a Hajj visa outside that is describing something that does not exist.

People look for a Hajj visa application form and cannot find one, and conclude they are missing something. They are not. There is no individual application.
Why there is no form for you to fill in
Hajj is run on a quota. Saudi Arabia allocates a number to each country, Pakistan divides it between the two schemes, and the visa is issued against a seat within that allocation.
So the sequence is: a seat first, then the visa, and the seat comes from the scheme. The quota and its split are in the Hajj quota for Pakistan.
This is also why anybody promising a Hajj visa "outside the quota", through a "special arrangement" or as a "business visa for Hajj" is describing a thing that does not exist. It is one of the clearest warning signs there is, and the rest are in how to avoid Hajj scams in Pakistan.
The two routes, and who files
Government scheme. You apply through the Pak Hajj app and the Ministry's website, with Habib Bank as the sole receiving bank. The Ministry handles the visa side against your allocation.
Private scheme. You register with a licensed Hajj Group Organiser. The organiser files the group and the visas come through that filing. This is what we do, and it is the reason the organiser's licence matters so much: an unlicensed seller cannot file anything, whatever they tell you.
How to enter each route is in how to register for Hajj from Pakistan.
What you are actually responsible for
Since you are not filling in the visa form, your job is to make sure the file passes. That means:
- A machine readable passport with real validity left beyond your travel
dates. Check it today.
- Names that match across passport, CNIC and NADRA. A difference stops a file.
- Photographs to the specification you are given for the year.
- The vaccination record, including the one with a waiting period, which
belongs at the start of your planning.
- Relationship documents where a mahram arrangement applies.
- Medical fitness where it is required, particularly for an older pilgrim.
The full list, and what stops a file most often, is in Hajj documents required for Pakistani pilgrims.
What we will not print here
Specific validity periods in months, photograph dimensions and fee figures. They are set by the Saudi authorities and the Ministry, they are revised, and a number copied off a web page is how somebody arrives with the wrong document.
Ask your organiser for this season's list in writing, or check the Ministry of Religious Affairs. We give ours with the package.
Timing
The visa is not the thing to worry about; the seat and the file are. If you have a confirmed place and a clean file, the visa follows the scheme's own timetable and is not yours to chase.
What people actually lose is the departure, to a passport that expired or a vaccination started too late. Both are preventable in the first week of planning.
If you are abroad
Overseas Pakistanis have a separate and much smaller allocation under the current policy, 1,792 seats, and the route differs. We have written that out in Hajj from abroad for overseas Pakistanis.
Ask us what your file needs
Send us your dates and who is travelling, and we will tell you this season's requirements in writing, check your passport validity and name spellings against each other before anything is filed, and tell you honestly if something should have started earlier. Our departures are on the Hajj packages page.
