Family Umrah packages in Pakistan
The short answer. For a family the price is the room, and the enjoyment is the distance. Put everybody in fewer rooms, insist on a close hotel in Makkah, save in Madinah, and travel just outside the school holidays if you possibly can. Those four decisions are most of a good family Umrah.

These are the rates published on this website, read when the site was last built. They move with the riyal, the airfare and the season. Ask us for today's figure and we will confirm it before you pay anything.
Look at what happens across a single package as the room changes. For a family travelling together this is by far the largest saving available, and it costs nothing but closeness.
Work out your room combinations before you ask anybody for a price, because the figure you are quoted depends entirely on them. Two adults and three children in one room is a very different per-person number from three doubles.
Ask for the price by room, not one figure
A single headline figure tells a family almost nothing. Ask for the price per person for each room type, then do the arithmetic for your own combinations. Any agency that will not break it down that way is making comparison harder than it needs to be.
The distance is the enjoyment
A family walks at the pace of its slowest member, and with a grandparent and a small child that is slow. A close hotel in Makkah is worth more to a family than to anybody else.

When to go
Just outside the school holidays, if the schooling allows it at all. The holiday fortnight pulls every Pakistani family into the same dates and takes the close hotels first. A week either side is the single most effective saving in the Umrah calendar. December and winter Umrah.

What to ask the agency for
- The price per person for each room type.
- Rooms next to each other, or on the same floor, in writing.
- The hotel by name and the walk in minutes, at night.
- Meals, and which ones, because with a family this changes the real cost
substantially.
- Airport transfers, both ends, which matter more with children and luggage.
- The Makkah to Madinah journey, included and by what means.
- What is excluded, in writing.
Tell them the ages before the package is chosen
Every age in the group, how far the oldest can walk, any mobility aid, and whether anybody needs help. It changes which hotel is right, and the hotel cannot be changed later.
A good agency starts talking about distance and rooms. A salesperson says it will be fine.
For the grandparents

Before you pay
