Umrah visa requirements for Pakistani passport holders

The short answer. A machine readable passport with real validity left, a CNIC, records that agree with each other, photographs to the specification you are given, the vaccination record, and an approved agency to lodge it, because you cannot. Of those, one has a clock on it: the vaccination with a waiting period. Start that first and the rest is paperwork.

The agency is part of the requirement

Worth stating first, because it surprises people. Pakistan is not on Saudi Arabia's eVisa list. The Umrah visa is issued through a tour operator attested by Pakistan's Ministry of Religious Affairs, and the Nusuk app will not take an application from an individual Pakistani passport holder.

The file

Passport. Machine readable, with enough validity left beyond your travel dates. Check the expiry today. This is the commonest reason a file stalls and it is entirely avoidable.

CNIC, valid, matching the passport.

NADRA records that agree with both. A name spelled one way on the passport and another on the CNIC will stop a file. Check them against each other before you apply, for every traveller including children.

Photographs, to whatever specification you are given for the season. Ask rather than assume; the requirement has changed before.

Vaccination record. Two are mandatory and one has a waiting period before travel. It belongs at the start of your planning.

For children, their own passports and documents, with names matching across everything.

What we will not print here

Validity periods in months, photograph dimensions, fee figures and age rules. They are set by the Saudi authorities and administered through the Ministry, they are revised, and a number copied from a web page is how somebody arrives with the wrong document.

What actually stops a file

In the order we see them:

1. Passport expiry too close.
2. Names that do not match across passport, CNIC and NADRA.
3. The vaccination started too late, which costs the dates rather than the

file.

disaster.

1. A child's documents incomplete, usually discovered last.

Four of those five cost nothing to prevent.

1. Passport expiry, today.
2. The vaccination with the waiting period.
3. Passport, CNIC and NADRA compared line by line, for everybody.
4. Ask the agency for this season's list.
5. Hand over the documents and keep copies.

Keep copies

Photograph every document before you hand it over, keep passport copies separately from the originals, and carry the hotel name and address in Arabic on paper.
