Economy Umrah packages in Pakistan
The short answer. Four honest savings, in order of how little they cost you: travel in a quiet month, share a room with more people, take a shorter trip, and accept a stop on the flight. The saving not to make, if anybody older or younger is travelling, is the walking distance to the Haram, because that one is paid for every day of the trip.

Umrah can be done well on a modest budget, far more easily than Hajj can. The trick is knowing which line to cut.

These are the rates published on this website, read when the site was last built. They move with the riyal, the airfare and the season. Ask us for today's figure and we will confirm it before you pay anything.
Look at the spread between the rooms in a single package. That is the first and best saving, and it changes nothing about the journey.
The four honest savings
1. Go in a quiet month. The single largest saving available, and it costs you nothing at all. Outside Ramadan and the school holidays the same city is cheaper, calmer, and the hotel you could not otherwise afford comes within reach. The winter months are the kindest. December and winter Umrah.
2. Share the room. Quint and quad rates against a double, in the same hotel, on the same dates. For a family this is a large difference for an identical trip.
3. Take a shorter trip. Fewer nights, usually fewer in Madinah. If your leave is limited anyway this is free.
4. Accept a stop on the flight. Real money, and the cost is tiredness at both ends.
The saving not to make
The walking distance, if anybody older or younger is travelling. On an Umrah you walk to the Haram and back several times a day. A further hotel is paid for on every one of those journeys, and with a grandparent it can take the trip away altogether.
A fit couple can absolutely take a further hotel and spend the saving elsewhere. That is a real choice. Just make it knowingly. How far hotels are from the Haram.
The savings that are not savings
A package that excludes the Makkah to Madinah journey is not cheaper once you buy that journey yourself. Compare the excluded lists, not the headlines. What is included in an Umrah package.
A package with no meals, if you then eat out three times a day with a family. Work it out before deciding.
An unverified agency offering a lower price. Not a cheaper option. The checks take ten minutes: how to verify an Umrah travel agency.
How to tell what was cut
Ask directly: "this is cheaper than the other one. Which line is it?"
"It is twelve minutes further", "it is quint rather than quad", "Madinah is two nights instead of four" are all good answers that let you decide. An answer that avoids the question is itself an answer.
What a tight budget should still insist on
- The hotel by name and the walk in minutes.
- The excluded list in writing.
- Payment to the registered company, against a receipt.
- A straight answer on who lodges the visa.
None of those costs anything, and skipping them is how a cheap Umrah becomes no Umrah. How to avoid Umrah scams.
What we would tell our own family
Travel in a quiet month, share the rooms, stay close in Makkah and save in Madinah, and take a shorter trip rather than a further hotel.
Ask us for the lowest honest figure
Send us your dates, how many of you and the ages, and we will tell you the lowest we can do for that group, exactly which lines it cuts, and whether we think it is the right trade for the people travelling. Our departures are on the Umrah packages page.
