Five star Umrah packages in Pakistan
The short answer. On an Umrah you walk to the Haram several times a day, so the number that decides your trip is minutes rather than stars. A four star you can reach in five minutes beats a five star fifteen minutes away for almost everybody. Buy the distance first; if there is money left, buy the rating.

Stars are the only comparable number on most brochures, which is why people search for them. On an Umrah it is the wrong number to optimise.
Why distance beats stars here
Umrah is mostly self-directed. Your day is built around going to the Haram and coming back, repeatedly, often at night, often tired.
A shorter walk changes every one of those journeys. A better lobby changes none of them.
This matters most with an older parent or small children, where the walk is the difference between a trip they enjoy and one they endure. Umrah for elderly pilgrims.
Where a good hotel genuinely earns its price
To be fair to the tier, several things are real:
- Lifts that cope at prayer times, in a tall building full of pilgrims.
- Reliable cooling, which matters more than furniture.
- Food on site at the hours pilgrims actually eat, which saves a walk.
- Quiet enough rooms to sleep in, not guaranteed anywhere.
- Staff who can solve a problem at two in the morning.
Those are worth money. Marble is not.
In Madinah, relax about it
Madinah is forgiving: flat, open, calmer crowds and shorter walks. A modest hotel there is rarely a problem, and the close ones cost far less than their Makkah equivalents.
So if your budget has to choose, spend it on the Makkah hotel and take something sensible in Madinah. Choosing a hotel near Masjid al-Nabawi.

These are the rates published on this website, read when the site was last built. They move with the riyal, the airfare and the season. Ask us for today's figure and we will confirm it before you pay anything.
The figures move with the room and the season, not with a star rating. That is the honest shape of the market.
How to buy well at the top end
In this order:
- The walk to the Haram in Makkah, in minutes, at night.
- The season. A quiet month buys more hotel than any budget increase does.
- The room, fewer people sharing.
- The nights in Madinah.
- Then the hotel's standard.
What luxury actually buys, as opposed to what a rating implies, is in luxury Umrah packages.
What to ask instead of "is it five star?"
- What is the hotel called?
- How many minutes to the Haram, at night, at a normal pace?
- Which gate does the route come out at?
- Is there a lift, and how far is the room from it?
- Which room is this price for?
- How many nights in each city?

Ask us for the names
We name the hotels rather than describing them in stars, on the Umrah packages page. Tell us your budget and your dates and we will show you what it buys in minutes rather than in adjectives.
